Office Closed until Sept 8. Next order processing and shipping is Sept 8
September Update
In the few weeks since Nats a few things have become clear around these parts of paradise.
Fightertown Decals has now grown beyond the scope of what I hadn't even dared to envision - We're
now past the couple hours a day endeavor I had planned for. While we've had all the necessities of a
real business since the beginning, what we now no longer have is my unlimited supply of time. As a 2
man show keeping up with orders, email correspondence, new sheets and the ever expanding empire
- we've surpassed critical mass. I've made good use of cheap labor of friends, family and my assistant
to bag decals and help ship, but even family can only take so much. And the amount of alcohol used
to bribe friends resulted in drunk friends 'trying' to help out:lol:
So here's the latest - Fightertown Decals is closed until Sept 8 for behind the scenes renovations and
to hire an actual employee to handle shipping, shipping notices, general business and
correspondence. Business hours starting Sept 8 will officially be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
10-4. Shipping schedules will be Monday and Thursday when volume is high; Thursday only when it's
slow.
We'll be updating the website shortly with new release decals. The next shipping date is SEPT 8.
ITMT, we still have a large backlog of orders from Nats and A-4s still to go out. In the week after
Nats, we shipped over 250 orders that took no kidding THREE 8 hour days of non-stop order filling!!
There's still another 150 to go so if you haven¢t received your order, it will be in the next round.
A-4 NEWS. We finally got the data addendum days before Nats and have the insert from a color print
error in hand. We'll begin shipping those on Sept 8. Yes the delay is unfortunate and disappointing
and one I am very not happy about but the level of detail, accuracy and coolness will make the wait
worthwhile. You weren't really gonna build the model in those few weeks anyway, right?...right? ;)
We've got another set of stuff in high demand off to print and I still have a few sheets left that
printed a long time ago that we haven't gotten to release. I'm sure you guys can guess what they are
- I mention hints every chance I get! Btw - anybody notice we still don't have a sheet #14 yet?.
Hmm... And look for the return of Free Fightertown Friday contests on the ARC forums with even
cooler prizes!

August Update 3
The August Gouge Part 3
With the rest of NATS sheets on the brink of release I wanted to pass on some quick info and keep
everyone in the loop as to the latest around the Fightertown corporate offices.
We had such an amazing response to our online NATS sales that we've been a bit overwhelmed. Aug
18 saw the largest single shipping day with well over 200 orders shipped. It required the help of
several 'employees' and I don't think I slept for 3 days straight getting them out, but it was cool to
see the boxes go out the door. There are still quite a few orders that have not shipped and here's the
gouge on them:
We've depleted our 'ready to ship' stock on 10 sheets. Meaning, we have to put together more of
them. The A-4 sheets have unfortunately seen another delay as we want to get the instructions
perfect and a few issues popped up. We should have them back shortly and then all A-4 sheets will
ship. Sorry guys, but you deserve and we want them to be perfect. Some of you received the sheets
only so the instructions will automatically be sent. If you haven't received your A-4 sheet order,
that's why.
Our next shipping date is scheduled 1 Sept. With all the time off getting ready for Nats and the new
sheets, that 'real world' job thing is requiring a lot of attention and time away from home, ie:
Fightertown.
